How It Works

From donation to delivery

A computer that is no longer needed can still have years of useful life ahead of it. Our job is to make that possible.

1. We Collect
Individuals, businesses and organisations donate computers, laptops and other useful equipment.

2. We Prepare
Our volunteers inspect, clean and test donated equipment. Devices are repaired or upgraded where necessary so that useful equipment does not go to waste.

3. We Protect Your Data
Data security is an important part of the process. The original Laser Computers Ukraine programme removed donors’ drives for destruction and appropriate WEEE disposal before preparing the machines for reuse.

4. We Organise Transport
Prepared equipment is packed and organised for transport to Ukraine.

5. We Deliver
Computers reach schools, organisations and communities where access to working technology can make an immediate practical difference.
